UK Account Executive

RAILS, a leading contemporary apparel and lifestyle brand, is looking for an International Account Executive, based in the recently established London office. The role is an exciting opportunity in a key market for the brand, and as such, the candidate must have a strong wholesale sales background within the contemporary space, existing buyer relationships, and a targets-oriented outlook. The role requires a dynamic individual, both strategic and detail oriented, with the ability to build and nurture relationships, and achieve ambitious growth targets.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the day-to-day wholesale business across the UK and Ireland, focusing on independents 
  • Present four seasonal collections per year via showroom and digital appointments, road trips, email and phone outreach. This role will require travel. 
  • Sales forecasting alongside the senior management team, with the ability to meet and exceed sales targets
  • Sell-thru analysis and relating actions, with the goal to drive in-season business through reorders and swaps
  • Key account support alongside Director, including weekly reporting analysis and retail support initiatives including brand training, store visits and sales incentives 
  • Support European territory and sales partners 
  • Prospect for new business and opportunities 
  • Plan road trips to visit existing and target retailers on a regular basis
  • Monitor the competitive landscape, following market and product trends as an expert in the contemporary space 
  • Regular product and performance feedback to design and merchandising teams 
  • Close collaboration with in-house sales teams based in Los Angeles and New York
  • Work closely with in-house and UK PR agency, with the mutual goal of driving sales and brand awareness through PR initiatives
  • Additional responsibilities as required; this role reports to the UK Managing Director

 

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of contemporary fashion sales experience, managing independents and key accounts 
  • Existing relationships with contemporary retailers and buyers
  • Experience with platforms such as Joor, NuORDER and ERP systems 
  • Targets oriented, highly motivated, organized and driven for success 
  • Ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively within a wider team
  • Strong visual merchandising skills 
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
