Key Responsibilities:

• Develop consistent size, fit, construction, and quality standards for Rails’ denim collections
• Create standard pattern blocks and tech pack blocks; create seasonal spec/construction blocks
• Work closely with overseas vendors on fit and construction
• Track sample progress
• Illustrate pattern corrections and style comments, communicating very precise details and adjustments to overseas factories
• Collaborate with Design, Technical Design, Product Development, and Production Departments to ensure design intent is executed without compromising fit and quality; collaborate with QC on resolving production quality issues
• Work within specified Company deadlines and efficiently prioritize workload
• Additional responsibilities as required

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of experience specializing in Denim Technical Design
• Strong knowledge of denim fit, construction, and patterns
• Experience and existing relationships with overseas factories and vendors
• Proficiency in MS Office and Adobe products
• Very strong organizational skills with high attention to detail are an absolute must for this role
• Ability to efficiently prioritize a demanding workload and adapt to changing priorities and responsibilities
• Collaborative by nature; ability to build and maintain strong relationships with cross-functional partners, both internally and externally
